The Mayor of Felixstowe attended the 2026 Suffolk Justice Service in Ipswich on Sunday 11 October, joining civic leaders, representatives of the justice system and faith communities from across the county.
Hosted by the High Sheriff of Suffolk, Oliver Paul DL, the service took place at Ipswich Minster and was advertised as a Choral Evensong, bringing together representatives from across Suffolk to mark this important civic occasion.
The afternoon began with a procession from Ipswich Town Hall to Ipswich Minster, led by the marching band from the Royal Hospital School. The procession included representatives from county and district councils, town mayors, members of the justice system, local religious groups, the High Sheriff and the Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk.
Following the service, attendees returned to Ipswich Town Hall for a reception, providing an opportunity to meet fellow civic representatives, exchange experiences and strengthen connections between towns and communities across Suffolk.
