Every year, Merchant Navy Day provides a poignant opportunity to reflect on the vital contribution made by merchant seafarers to our island nation — from keeping global trade moving to supporting us in times of conflict.
To mark this national day of recognition, the Mayor of Felixstowe will officially raise the Red Ensign in the Town Hall Gardens on 3 September at 10:00 am.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend the ceremony, show their support, and pay tribute to the brave men and women of the Merchant Navy, past and present.
