Have your say on improvements at Langer Park

People are invited to have their say on what improvements they would like to see at Langer Park in Felixstowe.

East Suffolk Council is looking to make improvements to Langer Park in Felixstowe, as part of its commitment to enable communities and care for the environment.

The aim is to create a welcoming, green space that be used by local people and visitors alike, whether to relax, exercise, catch up with family and friends, or enjoy the local wildlife.

In order to do this, the Council has launched a survey to hear the views on how people use the park, and what improvements they would like to see at the park. The feedback will help guide the design of the improvements.

Cllr Steve Gallant, Leader of East Suffolk Council, said: “If there is one thing the current situation has taught us, it is that our green spaces are very important in our communities.

“Therefore, we want to make sure that the improvements we make at Langer Park meet the needs of those who use it – whether as a local resident, someone who works nearby, or a visitor – the more views we get, the more we are able to make the improvements the users want.

“I want to urge people to have their say on this so we can get a better understanding on how they use the park and what improvements they would like to see. Please help us by taking a moment to fill out the short survey.”

To take part, complete the survey before 31 July 2020 at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6Y2VTDR.
