Calling all Community Groups – Do You Need Funding?

Felixstowe Town Council has a funding pot of £25,000 to support community organisations with projects and activities for the benefit of Felixstowe this year.

The second deadline for completed applications of 30 November is fast approaching,  with a total funding pot of £12,500 still available.

Projects which have previously received funding include:

·         £1,800 towards equipment for a local pre-school Group

·         £1,350 toward refurbishment of a community centre

·         £3,000 towards start-up costs for a local arts initiative

·         £1,000 towards the upgrading of specialist wheelchair adapted vehicles for an                  accessible transport service

To check if your group or project could be eligible to receive funding, please see our Grants Policy (download as a PDF here).  Applying for a grant is straightforward too – all you need to do is complete an application form (download a Word version here) and submit this alongside any relevant supporting information.

We are welcoming applications for the second round of funding by the deadline of 30 November 2017. Please forward this information to anybody who may be interested in applying.

Council’s Civic & Community Committee will meet in December to consider any applications received by this time and all applicants are notified of the outcome shortly afterwards.
