The Planning & Environment Committee meets 9.30am fortnightly from the first Wednesday following the Annual Council Meeting throughout the year, with a 3-week break in August and over Christmas. The Committee meets as a statutory consultee of the planning authority, to consider all planning applications received from East Suffolk District Council and make recommendations on behalf of the Town Council.  The Planning & Environment Committee also has the responsibility to respond to consultations on matters relating to planning or the local environment. Meetings are open to the public who are welcome to attend. 15 minutes is set aside at the start of each meeting for any public questions.
