At 10 am on Monday 22 June 2020, the Mayor of Felixstowe, Cllr Mark Jepson will be raising the Armed Forces flag to mark the start of Armed Forces week and to pay tribute to the whole Armed Forces community from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans, reservists and cadets. Anyone attending must follow social distancing guidelines.
The flag will fly for 7 days.
Although events won’t be able to take their usual form across the country, we’ll be celebrating and showing our appreciation for all the Military Personnel.
Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June. In 2020, it will take place on Saturday 27 June.
