Suffolk Day 2025 was marked with community pride on Saturday 21 June, as residents gathered in the Town Hall Gardens to celebrate all that makes Suffolk special.
The Mayor of Felixstowe, Cllr Corrine Franklin, raised the Suffolk Flag at 11am,and was joined by her fellow Town Councillors. A number of local care homes attended the event, bringing along residents to enjoy the festivities, and were joined by representatives from the Level Two youth group.

Refreshments, including cake, biscuits and fresh fruit, were generously provided by Sainsbury’s. Guests stayed to chat, reflect, and enjoy the morning sunshine, creating a memorable community moment.
The Town Council extends sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the event a success—from the staff and volunteers who organised the day, to the community groups and individuals who participated. Suffolk Day remains a cherished tradition in the town’s calendar, offering a moment to reflect on what makes our county so unique.
