Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved.
The Mayor of Felixstowe, Councillor Mark Jepson will be raising the Armed Forces Flag at 9am on Tuesday 22nd June 2021 in the Town Hall gardens to pay tribute to the whole Armed Forces community from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans, reservists and cadets. Anyone attending must follow social distancing guidelines.
The flag will remain up for Armed Forces Week.
Although events won’t be able to take their usual form across the country, we’ll be celebrating and showing our appreciation for all the Military Personnel.
At 11am on Saturday 26th June there will be a small service at the War Memorial for the Armed Forces.
