Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Tim Passmore has launched his 2017 series of public meetings across the county with a visit arranged to Felixstowe on 23 May.
Following the successful format of last year, the PCC will stage a meeting in each of the 18 Safer Neighbourhood areas. The meetings are an opportunity for the public to ask questions of the Commissioner and the Constabulary, and to find out more about policing in the county.
Meetings will be held in Eye, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Mildenhall, Halesworth, Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds, Beccles, Sudbury, Newmarket, Lowestoft, Woodbridge, Brandon, Hadleigh and Leiston. Full detail of all the dates and venues can be found at http://www.suffolk-pcc.gov.uk/public-meetings/public-meetings-2017.
Each meeting will involve a quick overview from Tim Passmore and the local Superintendent and then the public will have an opportunity to ask questions. The local Inspector responsible for policing in the local area, will add operational context.
The Town Hall is hosting the meeting in Felixstowe on 23 May at 7pm. There is no need to book, please just turn up. Tea and coffee will be served from 6.40pm.
