Have your say about Felixstowe by informing Felixstowe Town Council’s Business Plan.
Felixstowe Town Council is asking residents to join in the conversation to say what’s important and help identify the priorities for the town ahead of developing the Town Council’s Business Plan for 2024-28 and setting future budgets.
The Town Council is the first level of local government providing the community with a democratic voice and a structure for taking community action. The Town Council raises its own budget primarily through a small part of the Council Tax bill, to improve community well-being and provide better services. For an idea of what Felixstowe Town Council is responsible for, see page 5 of our Autumn 23 Magazine, available digitally at www.felixstowe.gov.uk/autumn-2023-town-magazine.
Cllr Seamus Bennett, Mayor of Felixstowe, said:
“This is your chance to say what you want the Town Council to do in the coming years. We need you to tell us what matters most to you so we can make sure we plan projects and spend public money effectively to meet those needs.”
