Join the Mayor of Felixstowe for a festive cheer at the 11am opening of our Christmas Ice Rink at Great Eastern Square, Hamilton Road, on Friday 20 December.
Thanks to the generous support of the East of England Coop, Felixstowe Town Council is once again able to offer public skating free of charge, between 11am to 7pm, from Friday 20 until Monday 23 December (10am-6pm on Sunday 22 December). Skates of all sizes are provided and there is no need to book.
With fun rides for children of all ages, a snow machine, festive music plus freshly made food and drink, there will be something for everyone at the Great Eastern Square Ice Rink this year.
Mayor of Felixstowe, Nick Barber, said: “We look forward to welcoming the ice rink back to Great Eastern Square again this year. It’s a great activity for all the family and many thanks to the East of England Co-op for their continued support for this highly popular event.”
Local DJs from Fresh Gold Radio will be providing the music and broadcasting live from the square during the event. Live music from the Salvation Army Band will precede the launch from 10.45am.
