Join the Mayor of Felixstowe for a festive cheer at the 11am opening of our Christmas Ice Rink at Great Eastern Square, Hamilton Road, on Wednesday 20 December.
Thanks to the generous support of the East of England Coop, Felixstowe Town Council is once again able to offer public skating free of charge, between 11am to 7pm, from Wednesday 20 until Saturday 23 December. Skates of all size are provided and there is no need to book.
With fun rides for children of all ages, a snow machine, festive music plus freshly made food and drink, there will be something for everyone at the Great Eastern Square Ice Rink this year.

Andrew Dawes, Head of Specialist Retail at the East of England Co-op, said:
“We’re very pleased to have once again been able to offer our support and are looking forward to welcoming the ice rink back to Great Eastern Square. It’s a great activity for all the family, growing in popularity over the years. I’m sure this winter will be no exception.”
BBC Radio Suffolk will be broadcasting live at the event from their Christmas bus between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday 20 December. Musical entertainment on the opening day includes the Salvation Army Band from 10.45am, Felixstowe Harmonies singing from 11.30am and the Pop Chorus from 12.30pm who will be singing their recently released a charity single in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice.
