Felixstowe in Flower Awards Ceremony 2024: A Celebration of Community Blooms

The 2024 Felixstowe in Flower Awards Ceremony was held at Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club on October 17, 2024, marking the 39th year of the initiative. Since 1985, Felixstowe in Flower has been brightening Felixstowe every summer, and this year’s event showcased many brilliant entries from the community.

The competitions, free to enter, included a diverse range of projects from local schools, allotments, businesses, care homes, and private gardens. Below are the categories and their winners:

 

School Competitions:

Nursery School Competition – Gro-Bag: Fairfield School

Nursery School Competition – Project: Fairfield School

School’s Gro-Bag Competition: Colneis Junior School

School’s Environmental Project: Felixstowe School

Best Sunflower: Riley Brewster
