‘CATWALK on the COAST’ – Felixstowe’s Charity Fashion Show Returns for a Night of Local Fashion and Inspiration
Felixstowe Town Council is delighted to announce the return of the highly anticipated Felixstowe Fashion Show, brought back by popular demand to support the Felixstowe Mayor’s Charities.
On Thursday, 3rd April, St John’s Church in Felixstowe will once again transform into a dazzling fashion haven for the event, ‘CATWALK on the COAST’. This year promises an even more emotionally resonant and captivating show, designed to uplift, inspire, and celebrate strength and style.
The highlight of the evening will be the latest fashion collections from Felixstowe’s local retailers, modelled by representatives from the Mayor’s two chosen charities. This year’s lineup includes courageous members of Breast Friends CIC, a charity supporting those who have been impacted by breast cancer, alongside representatives from the Landguard Trust.
Choreographer Brendon Dale remarked, “This show tells a powerful story of survival, resilience, and community spirit. Our models are not just walking the runway – they’re sharing their journeys, and I doubt there will be a dry eye in the audience!”
Cllr David Rowe, Mayor of Felixstowe, said: “This will be a special evening that will be great fun while raising money for the Mayor’s Charities, Breast Friends and The Landguard Trust”.
The evening will also feature live entertainment, with live performances by singer Chelsea Francis, comedian Louie Green, and local events personality and radio DJ Laura Locke. To enhance the experience, there will be opportunities for guests to browse and shop during the event, with added time to ensure no one misses out.
The organising team shared their excitement, saying, “From the moment guests arrive until the last applause, we want this show to be an unforgettable springtime experience. It’s a celebration of fashion, resilience, and community.”
Local businesses have generously come forward to support the event, including key sponsors MCP, MSC, Morrisons, Giant Gestures, and Scarborough Opticians, among others.
Tickets are now available and can be purchased via the QR code shown on promotional materials, at www.coes.co.uk/products/ticket-felixstowe-fashion-show, or in person at Coes in Felixstowe.
