Road Resurfacing – Langer Road, Felixstowe

Posted by Town Hall Staff 23 October 2017

Due to a review of the resurfacing programme, it has been necessary for the resurfacing along Langer Road, Felixstowe to be postponed until next week. Suffolk Highways will confirm the new start date as earlier as possible. They apologise for any inconvenience this amendment may cause.

Suffolk Highways will be carrying out road resurfacing works along Langer Road, between Tacon Road and Landguard Road.  This is necessary to stop further deterioration and improve the road surface.  The work is planned to start on 25th October 2017 and will continue for 2 nights.  The times and dates of works may change depending on the weather conditions.  If they do change, the information signs on site will be updated.  Temporary traffic signals will be in place for the duration of the works.    Access to properties and business will be available but controlled by staff on site.  Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

On street parking will be unavailable between property numbers 165 and 209.  This is to allow the resurfacing to be carried out unobstructed.

These temporary traffic management measures are required to allow the works to be carried out safely and in accordance with current health and safety guidelines.  If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Suffolk Highways on 0345 606 6171, quoting ref: 146471/1.
