The Felixstowe Branch of the Royal British Legion has arranged on Saturday 8 June at 12 noon at the Triangle, Felixstowe a Remembrance Service to commemorate the D-Day Invasion. There will also be information the Pegasus bridge mission and local resident LCPL Frank Minns.
On Sunday 9th June at the Felixstowe War Memorial at 1pm there will be a short Remembrance Service and wreath laying in memory of LCpl Frank Minns a Felixstowe resident. This event has been arranged by Cllr Darren Aitchison on behalf of the Royal British Legion and led by Rev Elizabeth Corker.
LCpl Frank Minns was one of the first men to attack Pegasus Bridge. He was tragically killed 3 days after D-Day during a follow up mission.
Members of the public are welcome to attend both events.
