Control and Treatment of Rat infestation along the Sea Road Gardens at Felixstowe

Posted by Town Hall Staff 06 April 2017

Please note that Suffolk Coastal Norse will be carrying out work to reducing scope for food waste build up and improving the control and treatment of Rat infestation along the Sea Road Gardens at Felixstowe.

Works that need to be completed will be to remove all low level shrubs within gardens from Sea Road Toilets down to the area opposite the crazy golf area. However the proposal is to leave all the specimen plants as Phormiom, Cordylines and Yuccas within the beds and seed all  areas below with grass. The belief is that the  rodents would not use the  specimen plants to hide and make their burrows in.

SCN have planned this work in for the last 2 weeks of April  start date 18th /19th.
