Felixstowe is an approved fairtrade town and the Forum is a voluntary group which promotes fairtrade, supports local businesses who sell fairtrade products and works with schools, churches and other voluntary groups. Fairtrade is about decent living and working conditions for farmers, a fair price for produce and investment in farming techniques to tackle the climate crisis.
