Description

The Finance & Governance Committee meets at 7.30pm on a Wednesday in June, October, December, January and March.  The Committee regulates, manages and controls the finances and resources of the Council, including the recommendation to Council of the annual budget and precept in accordance with Financial Regulations. Finance & Governance Committee also considers matters of policy and governance and has delegated authority to manage expenditure against the Council’s Administration Budget. Meetings are open to the public who are welcome to attend. 15 minutes is set aside at the start of each meeting for any public questions.
