Living in the heart of Old Felixstowe, it has been my great pleasure to serve the residents of Felixstowe and Suffolk for almost 12 years.

I was first elected to Felixstowe Town Council in May 2015 and have served on various committees and outside bodies during that time.

My county and district roles have included:

Felixstowe Coastal County Councillor, Suffolk County Council 2017 – May 2026

East Suffolk District Councillor 2019 – 2023

Key cabinet and portfolio responsibilities:

Assistant Cabinet Member for the Economy, East Suffolk Council: Focus on high street safety and recovery post-Covid, including overseeing the fair and efficient distribution of government grant support to shops and businesses during lockdown.

Deputy Cabinet Member for Operational Highways, Suffolk County Council: Led work on Suffolk highway drainage and flooding, including leading the recovery following Storm Babet.

Cabinet Member for Public Health and Public Protection, Suffolk County Council: Portfolio included Chair of the Suffolk Health and Wellbeing Board, and responsibility for Fire Service, Trading Standards and the Joint Emergency Planning Unit.

Serving my community has been a great honour and privilege, one I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone considering taking up a role.
