Additional information

Wendy and her husband David moved to Felixstowe in March 2020  and quickly realised what makes Felixstowe so special.  It is a Town with a proud history, beautiful  coastline and a strong community spirit.  David campaigned to become a Town Councillor for the South Ward , was elected but sadly passed away quite unexpectedly after a short illness.

Wendy  decided to carry on with David’s pledges that he held dear and was elected in 2024, so that she could represent local people and listen to their concerns in the South  Ward.

Being elected on  to Felixstowe Town Council was a proud and humbling moment and Wendy feels very honoured to be representing the people of her ward.

 Wendy’s background has been in sales and she has worked with the charity and caring sector.  The experience in these fields has been beneficial to enable her to move forward as a Town Councillor

Since moving here Wendy has  been involved in Langer Primary school, Volunteer at the Felixstowe Tourist Information,  and became  a member of Felixstowe Community  Choir and the Brackenbury W.I
