Level Two provides facilities and support for young people in Felixstowe in a youth hub based above Tescos in Felixstowe town centre. The group runs open access youth club sessions and offers other services meeting the needs of vulnerable young people. They operate a highly successful mentoring programme and work with young people with additional needs, young carers and those in need of support. The daytime provision supports young people at risk of exclusion from school, young unemployed and teenagers in need of support through well-being mentoring. Their detached youth worker regularly meets with young people out and about throughout the town. Level two holds weekly school-based drop-in sessions at Felixstowe Academy and are expanding to the seven local Junior Schools and with after-school and holiday activities. Their facilities include a creative arts room, IT facilities and a kitchen area for learning to cook. The programme content is responsive to locally identified needs and feedback from young people.
