Felixstowe Citizens’ Advice is an independent charity providing free, impartial, independent and confidential advice to anyone living in and around the Felixstowe area. Supported by the national Citizens Advice organisation, the aim of the Bureau is to provide the advice people need for the problems they face. They also seek to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
Their service is non-judgmental and assistance is offered to everyone, no matter how great or small the problem. They have fully trained staff who can offer advice & support on a range of subjects including debt, benefits, housing, employment rights and relationships and family issues. The Town Clerk and Mayor both attend the AGM. The Town Council supports Citizens’ Advice with an Annual Grant.
