Additional information

Jan became a councillor in May 2023 and feels honoured to have been elected by residents in the Central ward.  Jan endeavours to return that trust by striving to keep Felixstowe amazing.

When constituents write  with their issues, Jan does her utmost to unravel the problem, and sort it out.  This is helped by also being a District Councillor for Eastern Felixstowe and a Cabinet Member for Community Health.  Whenever she can, Jan stands up for Felixstowe.

Jan has a background in Human Rights and the Arts and believes that everyone is equal and that we all have the right to be heard and listened to with integrity and compassion.

Jan loves living in Felixstowe and nearly everyone she meets loves living here too.  It is a special place and as your Councillor does her utmost to uphold our values as a good solid community which looks after each other and also embraces our many lovely visitors who help to keep our town prosperous.
