Additional information

Margaret has enjoyed living in Felixstowe for 30 years. Her family all enjoy visiting and crabbing at the Ferry as well as watching container ships arrive and leave the Port. She is Secretary of Suffolk Coastal Disability Forum which campaigns for our area to be fully inclusive for people with a range of disabilities. She supports Felixstowe as a FairTrade town; and campaigns for improvements to bus and train services through Felixstowe Travel Watch. She is very involved in The Laydens Community Café in Langley Avenue. As a former Primary School Deputy Head, she welcomes being a member of the Advisory Board of The Oaks Children’s Centre. She enjoys the concerts arranged by Music in Felixstowe.

Margaret was elected to the Town Council (Walton Ward) in May 2019.
