Additional information

Corrine was born and brought up in outer London and after completing A levels at the local comprehensive school, she went to Essex University to study Philosophy and Politics.  After Graduation, Corrine’s first job was in London with an Australian insurance company on their graduate trainee programme.  After gaining experience in several departments Corrine qualified as an Organisation and Method Analyst and worked within their computer department introducing the change to desktop computers to the workforce .

Corrine moved to the Felixstowe area in 1982, and after a short while commuting to London,  got a job as an Assistant Management Services  Officer at Suffolk Coastal District Council. 

Corrine has 4 children, one of whom has Down’s Syndrome, so Corrine became a stay at home mum.  Corrine was involved with St. Mary’s Opportunity Group, which later became Felixstowe Opportunity Group, for many years.  Corrine has been a Governor at two Felixstowe Schools.

Whilst serving on the Town Council, Corrine had the great privilege of being the Mayor of Felixstowe in the 20/26 municipal year.
