Coronation Awards The 2023 Civic Awards also saw a number of residents presented with Coronation Awards, in recognition of a nationally significant year and Felixstowe’s fierce community spirit. Coronation Awards were presented to Diana Barnard, Michael Sharman, Charles Wright, Jean Macpherson, Rob Dunger, Richard Lord, Debbie Bartlett, Pushchair Pitstop, Visit Felixstowe Volunteers, Suzanne Banks, Mollie Bennett, Katie Mitton and Libby Bone. With special recognition shown to Tim Lukehurst via a Posthumous Coronation Award in recognition of his role in the formation of Litter-Free Felixstowe. |

The Community Award Litter Free Felixstowe For their tireless efforts to keep Felixstowe clean, and increasing awareness of personal responsibility, connecting with schools, businesses and many other organisations to educate everyone to be more proactive and environmentally conscious. Felixstowe Helping Hands Assisting the community during the pandemic, over 500 volunteers helped with tasks like shopping and medication deliveries. |
