Part-time, 10+ hours per week
Salary: £12.50 per hour / £24,054 per annum FTE

About Us

Felixstowe Town Council is a local council serving and representing the residents of Felixstowe. Our small team supports the Mayor of Felixstowe and the 15 other Town Councillors in their responsibilities, which include; local community buildings, allotments, cemetery, play areas, Remembrance events, Felixstowe in Flower and town twinning; as well as other community action, such as; providing grants to local organisations, responding to local planning applications, strategic plans and consultations.

About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Caretaker to help our full-time Caretaker to look after the Town Hall and other Councils premises and to help visitors, members and staff with weddings, meetings and other events.

About You

We’re looking for a hard-working individual to work closely with the Council’s full-time Caretaker to help maintain our sites to a high standard. You will take pride in yourself and your work, have high attention to detail, and enjoy interacting with others in a professional and friendly manner.
